Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that the continued silence of the international community and the United Nations on the worsening situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has emboldened India to persist with its state terrorism and atrocities against the oppressed Kashmiri people.
According to Global Mirror, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said the United Nations is duty-bound to implement its roadmap on the Kashmir dispute and ensure its peaceful resolution in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
He stated that India is targeting Kashmiris for resisting its illegal occupation, while cordon-and-search operations, house raids, arbitrary arrests, and harassment of innocent civilians have become routine in the occupied territory.
