Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Mughal Road remained closed for the seventh consecutive day on Sunday, as severe frost and slippery conditions continue to delay its restoration.
According to Global Mirror, the Srinagar–Jammu highway is also facing slow traffic and congestion in several stretches.
The Mughal Road, linking Rajouri and Poonch with the rest of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has been blocked since Monday following fresh snowfall and accumulation across its entire stretch. Attempts to partially reopen the road were postponed as fresh frost worsened conditions, making vehicular movement risky.
