Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has reaffirmed that government jobs in the province will be awarded strictly on merit, dismissing the practice of issuing positions through recommendations.
In a post on his X account, the Chief Minister stated that all departmental recruitments are being aligned with the standards of the Balochistan Public Service Commission and will be fully integrated with a digital system to ensure transparency and merit-based appointments.
He emphasized that restoring the trust of the province’s youth in the government is not possible without ending the culture of selling jobs and favoritism.
“The promise made to the people of Balochistan will be fulfilled under all circumstances, and jobs in the province will not be sold,” he asserted.
The statement signals a continued effort by the provincial government to reform recruitment practices and strengthen accountability in public sector hiring.
