Muzaffarabad: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has urged the international community to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities regarding the Kashmir dispute and play its due role in ensuring a just resolution of the lingering dispute.

According to Global Mirror, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore in a special statement issued on the occasion of India’s Republic Day, today, said the day is observed as a Black Day by the Kashmiri people as a mark of protest against India’s illegal occupation of their motherland.

Referring to the continued bloodshed, oppression, and grave human rights violations in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he said that the prevailing situation in the territory exposes the hollowness of India’s claims of normalcy.

He said the draconian laws and severe restrictions imposed in occupied Kashmir were in blatant violation of international law and democratic values.
