Kolkata: Three Muslim meat traders were stripped, beaten, and abused in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district, with attackers calling them “Bangladeshi”.

According to Global Mirror, the incident has raised concerns over safety of Muslims and police response. Victims Faraz Ali Piyada, Akkash Ali Piyada, and Ansar Ali Piyada were targeted by a Hindutva mob of 40-50 people.

The attackers, allegedly led by named individuals including Chandan Mandal and Kartik Naskar, looted valuables and left the men traumatized.
