Muzaffarabad: A press conference in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day was organized under the auspices of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, with Advocate Parvez Ahmed Shah, Secretary General, presiding over the event.
According to Global Mirror, the press conference was attended by Khawaja Muhammad Farooq, Central Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf; Dr Raja Sajjad, Director, Kashmir Liberation Cell; Ghulam Hassan Butt, Chairman, Muhajireen Representative Forum; Raja Aftab, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Muzaffarabad; Shaukat Javed Mir, Spokesperson of the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir; Yasir Naqvi, central leader of Muslim Conference; and Sumaiya Sajid, besides other political, social and representatives of the Azad Kashmir government.
Special prayers were offered for the late President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan, and participants paid rich tribute to his lifelong services for the Kashmir cause.
