Srinagar: Posters reading “Thank you Pakistan” have appeared in various areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, ahead of Pakistan’s Kashmir Solidarity Day on Thursday.

According to Global Mirror, the posters, displayed by pro-freedom organizations, feature images of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Army Chief Field Marshal General Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Messages on the posters include “Thank you Pakistan”, “A bond of blood and belief”, and “Pakistan Supports Kashmir’s right to decide: Let the people choose”.

The posters reiterate Kashmiris’ commitment to continue their struggle for freedom from Indian occupation and thank Pakistan for presenting their case internationally. They state Jammu and Kashmir is part of Pakistan per the Two-Nation Theory and India has illegally occupied part of it since October 1947.
