Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, residents of Gandhi Nagar in Jammu staged a peaceful protest against the illegal establishment of permanent roadside food kiosks and public toilets in residential localities, raising serious concerns over safety, sanitation, and encroachment.

According to Global Mirror, hundreds of residents gathered in the area to protest the setting up of food kiosks in the Rehari Zone, saying the move has led to severe traffic congestion, blockage of roads and footpaths, and unhygienic conditions.

Protesters warned that the situation poses risks to women, children, and elderly residents and has disturbed the peaceful character of the neighborhood.
