Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, defying curfew-like restrictions, protests erupted while mobile internet suspended across the territory against the martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei in US-Israel airstrikes.

According to Global Mirror, a complete shutdown was observed in the territory on the call of Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema headed by senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

Shops and business establishments remained closed while traffic was off the roads which were blocked by the authorities in Srinagar and other parts of the territory.
