Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, police have registered a case against a man in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on the charge of sharing pictures of protests on social media.
According to Global Mirror, the man has been identified as Javid Ahmad Khanday, son of Ali Mohammad Khanday and a resident of Sazan Keegam. Police claimed that he circulated certain videos along with captions and comments “which were prima facie capable of disturbing public peace and adversely affecting the law and order situation”.
A case has been registered at Police Station Shopian, under the jurisdiction of Police Post Keegam.
