Alappuzha, March 05 (KMS): In another incident raising serious concerns over misconduct within Indian armed forces, an Indian Navy official has been arrested in the southern state of Kerala after narcotics and cannabis plants were recovered from his residence.
According to Global Mirror, excise officials arrested Binu V William, 37, a resident of Mararikulam South panchayat in Alappuzha district, during a raid at his house in the Poomkavu area.
The search, carried out by a team of the Excise Enforcement and Anti-Narcotic Special Squad on the basis of a tip-off, led to the seizure of around 1.2 kilograms of ganja and ten cannabis plants from the premises.
