Islamabad: Political analysts have described the recent interview of the Israeli Ambassador to India, Roeeven Azar, by Indian media as a deliberate attempt to misrepresent Pakistan’s position regarding the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
According to Global Mirror, analysts say Azar’s interview with Arnab Goswami was carefully orchestrated to achieve multiple objectives: denting Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations, attempting to draw Pakistan into regional conflicts, branding Pakistan’s nuclear program as “rogue,” and aligning Indian and Israeli narratives to portray Pakistan as a regional threat.
Analysts note that the underlying message sought to signal joint Indo-Israel collaboration against Pakistan.
