Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed deep sorrow over the death of veteran leader and former General Secretary of Awami Action Committee (AAC), Ghulam Nabi Zaki of Sopore, who passed away today after a prolonged illness.
According to Global Mirror, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a post on X paid rich tributes to the deceased, describing him as a lifelong associate of Shaheed-e-Millat and a respected colleague whose contribution to the Kashmir cause was immense and unwavering.
He said that Ghulam Nabi Zaki remained deeply associated with the cause and endured repeated incarcerations with steadfast resolve. He described him as a selfless and committed political activist, a man of high moral virtues, whose life was marked by dedication and sacrifice.
