Jammu: A minor earthquake measuring 2.4 on the Richter scale struck the Ramban district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Global Mirror, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said that the quake occurred at 11:46 PM on March 23, 2026, at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located at latitude 33.433°N and longitude 75.180°E.
The earthquake caused brief tremors in surrounding regions. However, there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties following the tremor .
