Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces’ personnel conducted raids at more than 15 locations across Sopore area of Baramulla district, subjecting residents to harassment and intimidation.

According to Global Mirror, Indian paramilitary forces and police carried out extensive searches in Jamia Qadeem, Naseem Bagh, Krankshivan, Tarzoo, Amargarh, Warpora, Bomai, Boitingoo and other areas of Sopore in connection with a fabricated case registered under draconian the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Indian officials claimed the raids were part of an ongoing investigation into alleged activities related to religious-political organisation Jamaat-e-Islami and its associates operating in the area.
