Jammu: A massive cordon and search operation launched by Indian forces’ personnel in the forest areas of Rajouri district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir entered its eighth straight day on Saturday.
According to Global Mirror, the operation, involving personnel of the Indian army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Special Operations Group (SOG), and so-called Village Defence Guards, has been underway since Saturday in the Gambhir Mughlan and Dorimal areas of Manjakote sector.
Indian authorities have intensified the operation by deploying para commandos in the rugged terrain, while helicopters are carrying out aerial surveillance and sniffer dogs have been pressed into service to trace movement within the thick forest cover.
